Beautiful scenic Nippon vase with moriage and a lot of gold gilt. Vase is 6 inches high and about 3 1/4 inches in diameter. Scene is a quiet country home with road, trees and mountains. Back of vase has a meadow with 3 small birds a couple of trees and mountains in the background. Other than two very small spots (smaller than the head of a pin) on the top rim where the gold gilt (not the pottery at all) may have been nicked, it is mint. The two spots (as you can see in the last picture) are not actually as noticeable as they appear in the picture. I just couldn't get a great picture of it, but wanted to put something on that you could see. There is no noticeable wear of the gold gilt. Bottom of vase has the green Nippon "M" symbol and says "Hand Painted". This is a beautiful cabinet vase.
