This was found in my parents attic last week, a gift from a relative who did some traveling overseas many years ago. I am not an expert on vases but it looks to be a very old hand painted Nippon vase, covered in gold bead jewelery with flowers/floral (see pics-I assume they are roses?). Has a maple leaf underneath text of "Nippon" and "Hand Painted". We looked up in a price guide and it was listed at over $1000, but the condition is not perfect. The handles show some wear (see pics) and t is a long hairline crack around the base (see pics). The crack does not take away from the appearance but not sure about the value? Inside is dirty, from what I am told it was used to hold flowers. The height is almost 11" (about 1/4" under). I will gladly answer your questions the best to my knowledge and take more pictures if requested. I've been selling items on ebay since 1998 and have a great customer response and rating. I will double pack this item to insure safe transit and highly suggest getting insurance. Feel free to ask questions...this may be a rare piece from what the guide indicates???.....good luck!
