Up for auction is an National Knife Collectors Association Founder's Set. In the original imitation alligator skin carrying case. The case is in good condition with some wear on the bottom and some small cuts from the knives it carries. All knives have never been carried or sharpened. This set is # 1726 of 2600, with all knives bearing the same serial number stamp. All knives are working properly with excellent snap.The Sun Fish knife by W.R. Case and Sons. A two blade knife. The main blade has an acid etched picture of the NKCA Museum, the second blade is etched "NKCA museum Founders" knife and is stamped Museum 50. The handle is appaloosa bone. Large clasp knife by Schrade Cutlery. Handle is made of thick genuine stag. The patten number is a 275. The main blade is acid etched with picture of the Museum and is stamped "Schrade USA". Fightn Rooster three blade knife with Mother of Pearl handles. Humped Back Whittler by Kissing Crane Knife Company. This is a three blade knife. The main blade is etched "NKCA Museum" Knife 1of 2600 , 1980, stag handles, with NKCA Sheild. I will try to answer as many questions as possible before the auction ends.
