NMINT Montblanc Meisterstuck 172 Pix Pencil - 1950s Vintage Montblanc Meisterstuck Pix 172 mechanical pencil in black celluloid and gold-filled trim. Pushbutton click mechanism. Ready to write. Probably 1950s vintage. Dimensions: Pencil is just over 5-1/8 inches long. Materials: Black celluloid and gold-filled trim Markings: MONTBLANC PIX on cap band. 172 imprinted near top of cap. Montblanc star in top of pushbutton. Condition: Near mint condition. No scratches, chips, or brassing. Lower thin cap band does turn, but stays in groove. No personalized engravings. All parts are tight, as they should be. Clip is tight and straight. Writing Condition: Pencil is in working condition and expels lead when top button is pressed with a firm click. It is ready to use.
