The pictures of the roadbed cork is what you will receive with this auction. Scale Model Railroad Products Made in the USA Not intended for use by small children under 10 years old Flexible Cork Roadbed Stock Number: 3019 25 Pieces 1/8" thick x 1-3/16" wide x 36" long (NOTE:) For Z or Nn3 scale You use half of the flexible cork roadbed that is already split in two as pictured and tapered on one side of each section and use a sharp knife #11 to taper the other side for perfection. I put a piece of Z scale track on it to show you what it will look like and the track is not included. Paint your rails and track before you install it to your cork for a better look for a more to real life look. You will get 1/8" thick x 9/16" wide pieces that are 36" long each for a total of 150 foot of cork roadbed that will work on straight or on curved track as it is so flexible and easy to use. For turn outs or switches you just cut to fit w you need it to fit. This is so easy to use as I lay out my track and install the cork under it using 1 to 1-1/2" straight pins through the holes in the track to hold it in place. Lift the track up with the pins in the holes and glue down the cork with white glue, then put white glue on the top of the roadbed with a paint brush as you go along and then push the track back down into the glue and push the pins down to hold everything in place. Then put the ballast of your choice and color on the roadbed and push it in with your finger or a paint brush and then let it sit over night. Then just brush off the extras or I use a small vacuum to clean it up and you are done with a sweet looking track and roadbed. Please watch around your turn outs and clean the extra ballast away from them so they work (I use a #11 blade to clean the moving parts) or if you get some ballast on some of the insides of the rails clean it off and sand the tops of the rails and you are finished. I then run my engine around the track to make sure every thing is good before I finish my layout. ############## Easy to Use ############## (NOTE:) For N scale You use both sides of the flexible cork roadbed that is already split in two as pictured and tapered on both side of each section and just reverse the sections for perfection. I put a piece of painted N scale track on the cork to show you what it will look like and the track is not included. Paint your rails and track before you install it to your cork for a better look for a more to real life look. You will get 1/8" thick x 1-3/16" wide pieces that are 36" long each for a total of 75 foot of cork roadbed that will work on straight or on curved track as it is so flexible and easy to use.
