Afterbuying the loco from a hobby shop I took it from the box once more to test its pull. I stopped when on Marklins 3.64 degree ramp she began to slightly slip when starting with 11 MTL box cars plus caboose in tow. It has been stored in my apartmentin a dark place since. I unpacked it a third time to shoot the pictures as seen above, lubricate and to test run it again with no complaints: A smooth starter with silent, whobble free running The engine is factory painted with no chipped paint or otherwise faulty spots of the paint coat.
