"A collection of photographs taken over three days of the actress Runa Nagai, including school uniform portraits, Polaroid shots and scenes at spa resorts."--Kotaro Iizawa, Araki: Self, Life, Death Araki monograph devoted entirely to the Japanese actress Runa Nagai (also spelled "Luna") who is most known in the West for the film "Tomie: Another Face." This was published before that film. Kishin Shinoyama and Hajime Sawatari were also inspired to feature her in photo books - all of which skirt the boundaries of good taste. Though Araki emphasizes the vulgar, still somewhat in the "Namaiki" photobook tradition of the 90s - like the books of Chiaki Kuriyama, Hosho Mai, Tsugumi and Sayaka Yoshino. Condition: Very Good.
