Norfolk Southern #138 4-6-0 Vintage 3.5x6 Photo Professional quality 3.5x6 vintage black and white photo of Norfolk Southern #138 4-6-0. Photo taken at Edenton, North Carolina, June 1938. Engineer in cab and two crew members posing with locomotive. Stamped Robert P. Morris. This vintage photo is not real sharp. Corner wear consistent with age of print. Emulsion cracks in lower left. Printed on standard glossy photo paper. Information noted on back as well Morris stamp. NOTE: This print is from my father-in-law's collection and is at least 35 years old. It is a genuine vintage photographic print, not a digital reproduction. The picture you see above is a low resolution scan of the actual photo you will receive. My father's love of railroading began as a small boy. His father was a depot agent and telegraph operator for the Burlington in a variety of small towns in northern Missouri and southern Iowa. When I was young we decided to take up model railroading as a mutual hobby, which formed a bond that we shared until his death. Johnny never did anything in a small way. He embraced the hobby with all his energy and the scope expanded to collecting photographs, books and ephemera, even purchasing entire collections of photos.
