Up for auction is a fine example of a Noritake Nippon hand-painted vase in the Art Deco style, c. 1920, made in Japan. This vase is in wonderful condition, free of chips, cracks, or crazing. There is a fair amount of fading & wear to the gold details on the lesser decorated side with the pink flower. Considering the age of this piece you would expect to see some amount of fading and wear of the paint. The other more detailed side has a beautifully ornate gold cuff around the top, a beautifully bright butterfly AND GORGEOUS raised gold detail throughout! This vase has the green Handpainted Nippon wreath mark on the base, as shown in photos, and it measures 71/2" tall and about 4" wide. This beautiful Nippon vase was once valued at $350 -I don't know what it is worth now, though it seems the market has dropped since then. I am starting this auction at what I consider to be a fair amount and hope that someone will appreciate it as much as i have for the years I've owned it! It would make a beautiful addition to a collection or a great Easter piece! Please feel free to ask as many questions as you'd like and request more photos if necessary. I will include insurance in the shipping rate and rest assured, I package plushly! Thank you for your interest and !
