Beautiful NORITAKE Porcelain Salad Plates Set of Four Pheasant Pattern. MADE IN JAPAN. Circa 1920's. Measure 7 5/8" Diameter. Bird design with a Oriental look to it. Black edge trim, yellow and black border with Medallions of Pink, Bittersweet and Light Blue Flowers with Green Leaves. All White Background with a Large Pheasant Bird at the Center on a Floral Sprig. Plates are perfect size for serving salad, dessert or fruit. Backstamp: NORITAKE "M in a Wreath" MADE IN JAPAN "PHEASANT" US DESIGN PAT. APPLIED FOR. Plates are in great condition with No Tine Marks, Scratches or Chips. Black edge trim has some age related color loss. Does not take away from the beauty of the plates. The "M" in a wreath was used between c- 1914 and 1940. Listing includes Four Salad Plates.
