Norma DeCamp Original “The Swiss Lantern” Plus 2 Adorable Vintage Swiss Dolls I found this marvelous old lantern at an Estate Sale in town. I rarely get to go to them but a friend knew it was a good one So off we went. There was this marvelous old Lantern and the owner of this lantern said she brought it over years ago from Switzerland . I asked her to write the name of the city for me. . It was La Chaux-de-Fonds The roof is brass and grooved like a roof The lantern is wood with a brass base. I knew at home I had two adorable Swiss Children. They are perfect, no breaks and they are still strung nice and tight. they have jointed arms and legs and are in authentic attire. Not only that, their little faces are so darling. They are early hard plastic, with original clothes. The little boy,Erick has his real leather lederhosen short pants The band below the knees and the darling Swiss suspenders. His little open jacket is so beautifully made (flannel or felt?) but nice And he wears his Alpine hat. When I bought him his sister was also available and of course I had to have them both. She too is dressed for Oktoberfest and has darling tied up braids. and lovely full skirt, and her little original hat that matches her skirt.
