This North American P-51D Mustang pneumatic cylinder comes from the warbird collection of my father-in-law who is a WWII veteran. I wish I knew more about it's history but he's no longer able to give me any details. The data plate reads North American Aviation Inc., Fitting Assembly2 2, Assembly2, Ser No 10928-2943, Ship Mod No P-51D. This part is in good condition as evident in the pictures. In the unlikely event you don't have a P-51D to bolt this to, these cylinders make great table lamps with the data plate nicely lighted for all to see. The obvious scratches are undoubtedly the result of enemy fire incurred while dogfighting with a German BF-109 (and for the literalists in the crowd, this last part was my fantasy run amok). It's been 60 years since these parts were made and they're not going to produce any more. So 's your chance to own a bit of the infamous Mustang history at a starting price of $.99. And like your favorite kitten, my father-in-law would want this to go to a good home. Payment is to be made within 7 days of purchase. I accept Paypal, personal check, cashier's check or money order but will not ship internationally. Item will not be shipped until personal check clears. And we're happy to combine shipping. Shipping and handling will be a flat rate $10 to any place in the 48 contiguous states. Shipping insurance read more
