Holiday clearance sale! I will be listing over 100 pieces of North Light horses over the next few weeks so please check back for new listings. ALL stock must go! Horses being sold at rock bottom prices. No chips, breaks, repairs, or major paint flaws. These would make great holiday gifts for the horse lover in your family (or just buy them for you... because you deserve it). Some of you might be aware that North Light was sold to Wade ceramics a few years ago. A few months ago Wade announced they will no longer producing the equine series in the UK. I believe that all the North Light being offered through US distributors are from China now due to production costs. Most of the pieces that I will be offering for sale were custom done, hand-painted at the North Light studio in United Kingdom not China . The paint jobs and detail are outstanding! The molds are a resin and porcelain composition. The resin gives the mold the weight, while the porcelain allows the painting detail (and fragility). These molds are fragile and I would not recommend them to children that want to play with their horses. They are excellent collector items. North Light is competitive in the model horse show circuit.
