AMERICAseit 1776 (North & South America) Issued Germany, 1855 by Spruner. Fine original antique engraved map, with pleasing original hand color. Made approximately 160 years ago, printed in the mid-19th century, on quality paper which retains its inherent structural flexibility and soundness.In near VG or better condition, light suface dusting or small age spotting [note: we grade very conservatively and always seek to disclose any noteworthy flaws]. The printed map area remains visually pleasing, a nice impression of an interesting map.Sheet measures c. 17 3/4" H x 14 1/4" W. Engraved area measures c. 16 1/2" H x 13" W. Folio.
