This item is a Great Estate Find ! Vintage Northern Electric Pay Phone modified with modular connector for household use! No coins are needed! This great phone only comes with the key to the wiring housing. I do not have the key to the coin collection bucket with the chrome front. I plugged it in on my phone line and I hear it on but do not get a dial tone. I am not sure if that is because this is a rotary phone and my line is only touch tone. Or it may need to be checked for loose connection in the wiring housing.This great pay phone was manufactured by Northern Electric in Canada and has a 3 slot chrome top with 5, 10, & 25 cent slots.This phone has a really neat Rotary Dial in excellent condition for it'a age.This item is vintage with normal surface scratching due to use. I only see one chip in the phone on the top right facing side, towards the back. It is the size of a pencil eraser in the corner. This item measures approximately 18-1/2" tall by 5-1/2" wide on side. Front 7" wide accross at bottom and 8" wide handset to right facing edge.This vintage item is so nostalgic just like you remember these phones very cool for your garage or mancave.
