p61-001 P-61 Black Widow in Flight 8 x 10 Photograph on Fujifilm Paper The Northrop P-61 Black Widow night fighter in flight. The Black Widow had a three man crew consisting of pilot, radar operator, and gunner. This particular aircraft (serial number 42-5507) from the 418th NFS was lost in the South Pacific on April 10th, 1945. This is a new photograph, which has been professionally restored from a badly degraded original held by U.S. government archives.
