SO PLEASE ENJOY AND HAVE FUN WITH THEM! ITEM DESCRIPTION: This is an Antique Northwood BUSHEL BASKET made in the early 1900's. The base glass color is BLUE. The iridescence on this beauty features Rich, Vibrant Electric Blue and Purple iridescent highlights throughout. Inside and out...the iridescent qualities are ultra vibrant...extremely sharp...making it very attractive. In my opinion...it is even better than the photographs show...the visual qualities are simply outstanding. These are tough to find with visual qualities this fine. Please look over the photographs and enjoy. Dark areas in the photos are shadows only. The visual effects of the piece in natural light make it quite pleasing to view on display! This is one of those patterns where you can own a dozen, they all be spectacular, yet all look very different, here is a fabulous BLUE example with exquisite Electric iridescent features...take a good look and give this one serious consideration. It is in excellent condition too...you'll enjoy this fabulous specimen and others will as well. This one is marked . Not all of Northwood pieces were, but this one was. Antique Northwood its Finest! It is every bit as gorgeous as the photos show. My photos are taken outside in natural indirect sunlight. I never use a flash or props. I never enhance photos, never have, never will. I aim to show you the best iridescent color the piece offers. If the piece looks awesome in the photos...that is because...it is! What you see is what you will get! ITEM MEASUREMENTS: The piece is 5 inches wide handle to handle. 4 1/2 inches tall at the tallest point. BASE GLASS COLOR : BLUE ITEM CONDITION: There are NO CHIPS, CRACKS or REPAIRS on this Gorgeous Northwood Bushel Basket. An Exquisite piece of Antique glass! THE BASE: The mold seams are barely there to the touch...nice and smooth. I can't make out any shelf wear on the bottoms of the feet...extraordinary for this antique glass. The piece sits flat and level on a flat surface. THE INTERIOR: I can't make out any wear on the interior surface of this beauty. Look at the close up photographs and you'll see the interior is in SUPERB condition...FAR, FAR above average for the pattern in iridescent quality and condition...a real looker! THE EXTERIOR: I can't make out any wear on the exterior at all. The exterior surface is gorgeous...superb Electric iridescent qualities! THE EDGE: The Edge Treatment on the piece is quite well done. The piece is well shaped...the handles are well shaped...just a couple of manufacturing stretch marks...well above average for these. Obviously the piece has been very well maintained through 100 years of time. A fabulous piece of antique Northwood and an classic and classy piece of this century old glass. That is all I can find on this Rich, Exquisite Antique Northwood Bushel Basket. A fabulous example of this highly desirable pattern, shape and base glass color. A piece that makes a statement on display in terms of its fabulous ELECTRIC iridescent features and pleasing overall shape. It is a pure pleasure to look at and the condition is superb. If you appreciate the pieces that display eye catching Electric visual qualities over BLUE Base Glass...you will love this example and others will too.
