Offered for sale is this scarce, round 2 piece lovely covered butter dish in the Maple Leaf pattern manufactured between 1800 and 1900 by the Northwood Glass Company. The butter dish, with its cover, measures approximately 6" high. It is in EXCELLENT condition; the maple leaf and stippled pattern are still nicely defined, and as you can see from the photos, the original enameling and gold leafing or decoration is superb. There are no nicks, chips, cracks, repairs or crazing. There is a miniscule flea bite at one of the seams of the interior of the cover. I only found it when I used my fingers & felt a rough spot. We are also offering 2 additional pieces of this table set; the covered sugar and the spooner, or spoon holder. We will gladly combine shipping.
