Norway Denmark Lot - 830S & 925S Silver- 2 Pair Earrings & 3 Pins Or Brooches - Prydz, BahnerUp for bid in this auction is a 5 piece lot containing items from Norway and Denmark, 3 pins or brooches and 2 pairs of earrings - makers include Hroar Prydz and Volmer Bahner. The lot is described as follows: Norwegian black handmade pin or brooch depicting a young lady in traditional Norwegian style dress holding a bouquet of flowers. This pin is made of wood and has been lacquered black. As you can see from the photo the artwork is very charming, and makes for a vibrant and beautiful pin. The pin is not signed, it is unmarked. The pin measures 1 1/2 inches in diameter and is in excellent pre-owned condition - there are no scratches, chips or dings, or any other damage, on this pin. 925S fine gold washed silver enameled guilloche oval pin or brooch which is decorated with a flower that looks like an African Violet. I am not sure which Scandinavian country this pin was made in, I suspect Norway. There is a makers mark on the pin but I am not familiar with it, the pin is marked with the makers mark and "925S". The pin itself is nice and straight and fastens with a c-clasp. The pin measures 1 inch wide, east to west, and is 3/4 inches tall, north to south. There are no scratches, chips, enamel loss or any other damage to this pin, in fact it is in excellent condition. 830S fine silver umbrella solje pin or brooch. The gold washed drops at the bottom edge of the umbrella are in very good condition with very little tarnishing or discoloration, if any - they look clean to me as does the entire pin. The pin is marked with what looks like "AR", but the mark is difficult to read, I may be mistaken. The pin measures 2 inches from the top tip of the umbrella down to the curved handle at the bottom, and measures 1 3/8 inches wide at the widest point, east to west. The pin mechanism is a c-clasp and the pin itself is nice and straight. Overall this rare umbrella solje is in excellent pre-owned condition without any damage that I can see. Hoar Prydz of Norway 925S silver heart drop earrings for pierced ears. This is a sweet pair of orange enameled heart shaped earrings which measure 3/4 inches long from the ball to the bottom tip of the heart, and measures 5/8 inches at their widest point, east to west. These earrings are marked "Sterling, "925S", the makers mark for Hroar Prydz, and "Norway" - the earring backs are original and are marked "925S". These earrings are in excellent pre-owned condition with out any enamel loss or chips, nicks or any other damage that I can see. A pair of pretty green and white enameled butterfly earrings made by Volmer Bahner of Denmark for pierced ears. The earrings measure 1/2 inch wide, east to west, and are 1/4 inch tall, north to south. The earrings are marked "Sterling", "Denmark", on the backs of the butterfly posts, and "925" earring on the earring backs while"VB" for Volmer Bahner appears on one earring back only, additionally these are the original earring backs. This sweet pair of earrings are in excellent pre-owned condition without any enamel loss, chips, scratches or any other damage that I can see. Please examine the pictures closely as they are part of the description. White spots that you may see in the pictures are glare caused by the light I used to photograph the item - I will always mention any damage I see on an item. Pre-owned pieces of jewelry may have fine scratches and/or tarnish on them commensurate with their age and previous use. Other pre-owned items may also show minor signs of previous use.
