This is a CD version of the photocopy reprint (which I also sell) of the publication Norges Mynter i Middelalderen (Norways Coins in the Middle Ages.) This book was originally published in 1865. It is rarely ever offered for sale at this point in time. Most known originals are tied up in libraries in Norway in their rare book departments. A reprint of the coin plates was issued in 1973. That thin book of just the 19 pages of plates now sells for over $45 in Scandinavia. Original books sell for several hundred dollars when available. The original book was printed in a very large size of roughly 11 x 15 inches. The large books are very difficult to use, and of course very fragile. I am offering a CD version which includes the book in both Word and PDF formats. Do be aware that this is a copy made from scans of the original book. This means that there are pages that are slightly tilted and areas that are more difficult to read due to text showing thorugh from the other side of pages in the original book. There are a total of 286 pages in this book including a lengthy introduction, main text, and drawn plates showing coin designs. This book was written in mid-1800's Danish/Norwegian. It is not easy to read even for those who are fluent in Norwegian. However, the information contained in this book is available in no other single source.
