This is New Old Stock in a classic shape and primary color. CONDITION This is New Old Stock and is guaranteed to hold your new lenses. About Us WHAT WE SELL The eyewear we offer for sale on Ebay is either restored or is new unsold stock. We take pride in the work we do in the preservation of old eyeglasses. We use our thirty-five years of experience to inspect every aspect of every frame - new or not. The majority of the previously worn frames we get have defects beyond repair and are rejected. The rest are taken apart, cleaned, sterilized, polished, and trued. They are then reassembled, using new screws, nose pads, temple covers and other parts as necessary. Finally, the glasses are given a final cleaning and adjustment "New Old Stock" Even frames that have never been out of their original package can change over time. Pressure from other frames in the box and changes in temperature and humidity can cause shape changes over time, throwing the frame out of adjustment. Metal parts such as hinges can tarnish and become stiff. If a plastic frame has been stored for many decades, the plastic may dehydrate and contract or, in extreme cases, begin to deteriorate (and smell like vinegar).
