NOS Bill Matthews Co. High Rise Handlebar baskets. I believe these baskets were made by Bill Matthews Co. after doing a little more research on them. I found an ad on the Bill Matthews Co. Facebook page and the baskets are the same tall style shown in the ad picture. The baskets are made for banana seat handle bars and should fit both the 1970 and up Schwinn Sting-Ray and the early wide handlebars on the 1963 through 1965 Schwinn Sting-Ray muscle bikes. The will also fit any wide handlebar from the early 1960's like the Huffy Penguin and Dragster, Murray Wild Cat and Sears Spyder. They have cut out areas on the bottoms on each side to fit between the handlebars and a set of clamps with bolts and nuts to hold them secure. I included a picture of a basket mounted on early wide Wald brand handlebars. The handlebars are not included in the auction. The baskets are zinc plated and have awesome plating and shine great. The clamps and bolts and nuts are a included and the clamps have a few spots on them from age. Perfect for a mint original bike or for your best restoration. Please email me with any questions.
