The gilt illustration and lettering to the spine and front cover is bright and unrubbed. The spine is slightly faded. There is some wear to the top and bottom of the spine. There are no signatures, bookplates, or markings of any kind. The pages are clean and free of any foxing. The book comes with it's rare original sewn in cloth bookmark (often missing). There is some light wrinkling to the bottom edge of the first few pages. The blank page after the front endpaper and before the title page is missing. This is an early printing of the Deluxe edition by Methuen in 1928. A rare find in any condition. Synopsis This book contains a thirty-five poems for children written by A.A. Milne.
