Letter Sept. 16th 1854 (also dated Quaker-style) sent from North Dighton to Boston, with anoversized Davenport & Mason's label, which was used on packages only! Also: the letter doesreference being sent by Davenport! One fault is that the pen slashed the paper when "Mr Pratt& Earl" was scratched-out at the address... still, Unique and a show-stopper! Note: Siegel's solda simple 1852 FL with the small round yellow label for $250+ several years ago * Shipping: 3.50 y
