The first was issued without the engraved signature. This 2nd issue added the engraved signature.There is something unique about this coin as well. There is a minor error that makes it unique and perhaps very rare. If you check the words Coast Guard, the two words are run together without a space in between.This is minor in that sometimes Coast Guard is seen as one word, but it was intended on this coin to be two.After it was made and some had been handed out, it was noticed and the rest of the coins were not given out. Through a contact that is a Retired NSA Officer, these were donated to our cause since they know most of the funds we raise go to the Intelligence and Law Enforcement programs as described below.So now these are available to collectors. This is a 2 inch 3 dimensional Challenge Coin signed by General Keith B. Alexander as the Director of the National Security Agency as well as the Director of the Central Security Service.The coin has the logo of the NSA one one side and the logo of the CSS on the other. This coin was minted and presented by the Director before the establishment of CRYBERCOM.It is a very colorful coin with combinations of blue,gold and silver.For those
