Be sure to check back with us and see what kind of new stuff we have listed.About This AuctionThis auction is for an NWA 869 stone meteorite, carved and polished into a spherical space ball, then set into a pair of sterling silver hands. The meteorite sphere can be easily rotated around in the hands for viewing from all angles. The hands are stamped "92.5." The "Catch a Falling Star" pendant weighs 13.8 grams. An outer space marble showing lots of round and oval shaped chondrules made of 4.56 billion year old melted star dust. NWA 869 is an interesting type L3-L6 regolith breccia stone chondrite meteorite found in a now hunted-out strewnfield in the Sahara Desert. It's a very stable stone meteorite, resistant to weathering due to its overall shock compaction. It has one of the best looking interiors of any stone meteorite, with lots of variety in the overall lithology. These meteorites contain many different colored and shaped inclusions,
