A rare original concert program for Jimi Hendrix’s final concert at the famous Fillmore East in NYC with special guests Joshua Light Show and The Voices of East Harlem. This was a New Year's Eve show: Dec 31, 1969 - January 1, 1970. This program is also for The Grateful Dead appearing on Jan 2 - 3, 1970 with special guests Lighthouse, Cold Blood and Joshua Light Show . The back to back pairing of Hendrix with The Grateful Dead is a perfect illustration of the eclectic booking policy of Fillmore owner Bill Graham. The program is 24 pages and includes band bios, photos, and lots of great vintage ads. This piece is in overall excellent condition with only minor ware. The only flaw really worth mentioning is apparently someone had pushed a thumbtack through the second half of the program. So, this flaw cannot be seen from the cover, it can only be seen when you open the program in the middle. Live at the Fillmore East is a posthumous live album by Jimi Hendrix released on February 23, 1999. The album documents Hendrix's performances with the Band of Gypsys at the Fillmore East on December 31, 1969 through January 1, 1970. It is drawn from the same performances as, and can be seen as an extended complement to, the Band of Gypsys album, consisting mostly of songs not on the original album. Jimi Hendrix died later that year - September
