RARE VINTAGE MAP of THE WORLD ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Up for no reserve auction is a NYSTROM Vintage School Map… the kind that attached on the top of the chalk board and pulled down for the class to see. These are really cool maps and the information is enlightening and accurate. This particular map is of THE WORLD and has a nice 2-PAGE design where the bottom map contains all the printing, and proper nomenclature, such as; country names, country outlines, borders, cities, rivers, and related facts. The top map is the full color topographic cartographer’s masterpiece, as shown in the photo! The map layout design of both pages shows one large main map of THE WORLD and three small top maps, including Population, Natural Resources, & Annual Rainfall PLUS round maps of both North & South Poles (see photos). The back of these map pages show normal wear from use, but the map surfaces themselves are pristine and gorgeous! The colors and details of the map are stunning, providing colorful arrays of topographic areas and sharply printed details. The colors are brilliant and rich. Size is a large 47” long by 65” wide.
