K.O.T.M. HALL, OAK GROVE. , real photo postcard by unidentified photographer, ca. 1909. This sharp, detailed, real photo postcard shows several buildings in the small town of Oak Grove, Michigan about 1909, including the M. L. TYNDALL and SON HARDWARE advertising BUFFALO PAINTS and the OAK GROVE MEAT MARKET operated by READ and WHITE and advertising BLUE RIBBON ICE CREAM . The MACCABEES HALL (K.O.T.M., Knights of the Maccabees) must be upstairs over Tyndall's Hardware in this circa 1909 photograph. A young girl stands in the middle of the middle of Larch Street, apparently selling newspapers, and a boy sits at the entrance to the hardware. Please see the detail scan below for a closer view of the signs. Oak Grove is in Livingston County . Postally unused, divided back, 3 1/2" x 5 1/2". KARBO photo postcard paper dates postcard to approximately 1909. Condition Very Good+ condition with minimal corner wear and a very light, faint corner bend at lower left.
