Offered for auction are 5 sets of vintage Occupied Japan Blue Willow of cups and saucers . They date from the late 1940’s. These lovely cups and saucers feature the classic Blue Willow design with the Emperor’s pagoda and pair of Turtle Doves. The blue and white transferware has deep coloring. The cups measure 3 ½ inches in diameter and the saucers are 5 ½ inches in diameter. The saucers are in excellent condition. Three of the cups are in excellent condition. One has a tiny chip on the tope edge near the handle and the other has a tiny chip on the top edge near the inside decoration. They are marked Kakusa China / Made In Occupied Japan and a laurel wreath and crown hallmark. These wonderful vintage china plates are a great addition to your dinnerware set or a terrific start to a new set. I am selling several pieces from this Blue Willow pattern and would be happy to combine shipment. Thanks for your bid!
