OCCUPIED JAPAN POST 1446 SUN HEMI BAMBOO SLIDE RULE nr Description: All Occupied Japan Auctions by this seller will be rare, or quality, or uniquely different in some manner. This unique and rare slide rule measures 1/4" thick, 1" wide, and 11" inches long. It is made of Bamboo with a white laminate on top, and black numbers embossed on it. It has a clear glass? and metal cursor slide, that slides smoothly, and a scale of numbers on the back to help you do the figuring. It comes in a black hard cardboard case with slight wear on the corners, marked on the face in silver POST 1446 and with a few stars. No chips, no cracks, no repairs, no damage. It is like new and how it left the factory 60 years ago. It is excellent working condition and in embossed in the white in black on the front SUN HEMI, MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN, and in red THE FREDERICK POST CO. NO. 1446. T is also a paper label on the box that states MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN. (see photo) The side of the cursor slide is embossed MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN, and on the other side of the slide is embossed SUN HEMI. (see photo) Marvelous addition for any collection. Yep !!
