Piskey 1BRINGING A PIECE OF THE PAST TO THE PRESENT Store Payments Shipping Returns Terms Guarantee About Us Doulton / Stiff Salt Cellar with Ball Feet #6 in group photo below ***PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE FURTHER IMAGES BELOW & YOU CAN Page Item Description This Genuine late C19th/ early C20th stoneware salt cellar (or possibly mustard?) has the same distinctive floral design as #8 (in group photo) and comes in a lovely rich tan glaze with parts of the inside of the flowers picked out in charcoal glaze. It also has the same 'C' on the base (please see below) as #8 Superb and very individual ball-feet! I have been told this is attributable to the 'C.Bailey & Co' pottery in Fulham (London) but it is also fairly typical of Doulton/ Stiff designs/ colouration as well! (no potters stamp) ** This is just one of over sixty 'Doulton' items from a small collection, some very unusual and collectable (please see group photo's) - I have the privilege of being able to offer each of the bottles from the whole collection here on eBay - I am not a Doulton expert but I will try and describle them to the best of my ability - If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me! ** Dimensions: 1.75" tall and 2.5" diameter across body (approx.)
