The narrow, pointed end fits perfectly between the thumb and forefinger and keeps the host's fingers out of the goodies..... The piece is well-cut and wheel-polished on a clear, water-white blank; it is quite heavy for its size. The design utilizes the same motifs as Hawkes " Devonshire " design and may well be " Devonshire " adapted to the small, leaf shape. An unusual and usable shape that displays well. The piece is 7-inches long, 5-inches wide and stands 1-inch tall; it is in better than extremely fine condition (as described on our website). REC002 on our website.
