US Army Officer's Military Chest Field Mess Tableware Outfit Trunk Footlocker Gear ..This type trunk has been carried in the military inventories for many years. The lid closes tightly and the latches are in good condition. The Trunk Measures approximately 15"H, 17.5"W, 13.5"D. I have seen this sold as ww2 and in references as ww2 but this one has no ww2 date marked items. Most of the items are not dated. Only dated items are One Plate marked " US ASCO 1951" and 6 of the the stainless cups (US ades 75) . I can imagine the sets have been mixed over the years but it is in very good conditionMany of the Aluminum pieces are marked, "NASH US" a few of the bowls are marked "US mirro", and a few of the plates marked "US city metal " and " us regency"The Kit comes with 10 Large Oval Aluminum Bowls 1 marked "us ss & s co. "the rest marked "nash" , 9 Round Aluminum Dinner Plates, Small Covered Aluminum Lidded Pot,marked "us american aluminum company aa" 6 Aluminum Salt-Pepper Shakers un marked, 1-Nash Aluminum 16" Platter, 8 Stainless Steel Coffee/Drink Cups 2 marked "nash" 6 marked "us ades 75" , , 10 Stainless Steel Dinner Forks 4 marked us royal, rest "udica us", 10 Stainless Steel Small Spoons 1 marked us royal the rest "onidacraft stainless", , 9 Stainless Steel Large Soup Spoons marked "onidacraft stainless", 11 Stainless Steel Knives
