DESCRIPTION: "The Official History Of The United States In Mint Stamps".... an original set of 200 different mint U.S. stamps on presentation cards in a heavy album (picture 1). This was sold by the "Postmasters Of America". The set was limited to 15,000. This set is numbered "4431 / 15,000" in the front page of the album (not shown). They were sold in 1979 (see certificate of authenticity....last picture). Each stamp is in a clear mount on the card. The back of each card has a detailed history of the stamp (see next to last picture). All cards have high quality original color art work to the left of the stamp. A huge amount of U.S. history depicted in this set. Great for school children, a history school teacher, a stamp collector or U.S. history buff. ebay only gives me 12 pictures.
