This is a large set of Ohiovalley fossils collected from the Cinncinati area fossil feilds.These specimens are the remains of the ancient sea floor inhabitants of the Ordovician Ear (over 440 million years ago ).They are all hand picked and are high quality feild specimens.The set contains fossils from many diffrent formations from this area and as alway our sets are great for teachers and educators. the set contains Brachiopods several diffrent species and specimens including Rafinesquina,Hebertella,Strophomena and Platystrophia members ranging in size from a quarter to a silver dollar Gastropods spiral shell sp in matrix one small specimen Chephelopods 2 specimens small one in matrix with other trace fossils measures 3 inches and the large specimen is a 5.5 inch shell cast unknown sp.
