These items were in a display case for the last 30 years. Because of the travels associated with the Rabbi and his wife, as well as the nature of the items themselves, I have concluded that these lamps are authentic antiquities. However, because I am not an expert. Please ask any questions or request additional pictures in order to verify for yourself.Item:clay oil lampDescription:2.25" diameter of main pot. Overall length 3 3/8" at widest point.Beige color clay. Very small blackened areas at the flame area. Flame area is rather large for a lamp.A piece of tape is on the bottom with hand written label which states: "Haifa 69." This probably identifies the area that the lamp was excavated as well as the year it was found.Condition:It appears as near perfect as can be for an item that is so old. T are no ships or cracks.
