This old Conklin fountain pen is 5 1/8 inches long with the cover on. It has the top type push clip. The clip has engraved on it: CONKLIN PAT. MAY 28 1918. Please take particular notice of my pictures because I think the Crecent filler may be missing. I have a close up picture of w the Crescent may have been. I'm no expert on these old Conklin pens so please check it out. On the top of the barrel it has engraved 14K , followed by a five pointed star and then 1/5. I assume this may mean 1/5 gold filled but I'm not sure. The gold overlay over the black body is done in a beautiful Art Nouveau flower type design. The upper nib rim has a 3/16 by 2/16 inch missing chip and the nib is very thick and stocky with no writing on it. I'm not familiar with this type nib. The owners name of BILL is engraved on the top part of the cover. Please email with any questions.
