Old 1950's Texas Fishing Photo - Possum Kingdom Lake Up for auction is this vintage framed black and white photograph from the 1950's. Photo was taken at Possum Kingdom Lake on the Brazos River in Palo Pinto County Texas. The photo features two anglers holding a large string of bass. The background features Fox Hollow Camp Bait House, with a vintage Johnson Sea Horse Outboard Motors Sign. T is a 1950's vintage car parked behind the fishermen. The photo measures 8 ½" x 10 ½", including the gorgeous bamboo style frame. The back side of the photo has a tag taped to it that reads: " Possum Kingdom ...1950's Photo." For its age, this photo is in mint condition. Possum Kingdom Lake is located in Palo Pinto County Texas . The area hills and valleys, post oaks, and cedars make a veritable paradise for possums around the lake, I've had photo since he 1950's. It was given to me by my father who was an avid Florida fisherman. He collected fishing photographs from all over the country. I've got many old photographs of sporting fish, alligators, sharks, giant turtles, etc. This is the perfect item for you anglers and collectors of Texas memorabilia.
