I have an old U.S. flag with 45 stars. In 1896 one star was added to the flag when Utah was admitted into the Union making 45 stars and this was the official flag used from then until 1908. The flag I have measures about 4x7 feet and that is what printed on the flag- Standard 4x7. The flag has some small holes and stains plus a few small darned repairs. I don't know much about cloth materials, but this cloth is woven loosely and feels scratchy when it rubs against the skin. The stars are individually sewn to both sides of the blue field. In my pictures you may see a pattern through the flag, but that is not in the flag, just a pattern on the wall behind.Winner pays Shipping for 3 lbs.
