You are bidding on a Nice old 100% AUTHENTIC, MUSEUM QUALITY, 500 BC, Solid Bronze BOWL ARTIFACT. This is A 2500 Year Old Ancient Greek Artifact . A Signed Letter of Provenance is reading 100% Authentic is included . Excavated from the Angora (Ancient Market Place) in Athens Greece By Professor C.A. Robinson - Director of the Athens School for Ameriacan Studies in Athens at time of this discovery(Over 100yrs ago). Good luck on your bidding. ~ Yes, I Will Ship Worldwide~ I picked up this Nice Piece in Upstate NY. and in the New York Adirondack mountains w I live. The piece was handed down from grandfather ( Professor of Classics at Brown University- Archeology ) to his son to grandson. The Artifact has been in his family for Over 100 Years. The Old Antique Antiquity Bowl from 500 BC. is in Great Condition , see the pictures. The piece was Excavated from the Angora (Ancient Market Place) in Athens Greece by the late Professor Charles Robinson Jr. (Archaeologist) while in the area. This piece is from his Private Collection . His grandson is my neighbor and received the Nice Piece from his father. I asked him if I could try to list it and he said okay. So it is. A Signed Letter of Provenance for this 2500 year old bowl is Included . The longest length from side to side measures Over 5-3/4" inches wide. The highest height of the bowl measures 2-1/4" inches tall . The thickest thickness measures Over 1/16" of an inch thick. The Artist whom had once crafted this Ancient Art Work did a great job with his Detailed Craftsmanship. The piece appears to be Hammered into it's U nique Shape with significant curves & lines . Has a centered dimple hammered into the base from the maker .. see the pictures. The piece belongs in a museum , could be priceless and probably is. Any collector, museum, jewelry, even coin collector would treasure this piece, it's nice. The piece is sharp looking. The piece is in the original condition it was Excavated / found / dug up in by Professor Charles Alexander Robinson Jr . Found the bowl is slightly out-of-round from the maker when measuring it, it's Handmade. Has an area of worn brass on the side, it's 2500 years old, see the pictures . Over all the piece is in Great Condition , see the pictures . This item would make one successful winning bidder satisfied & would make a perfect gift for a collector of artifacts or even yourself. I picked up this Nice Hand made Artifact in Upstate New York and in the Adirondack Mountains (ADK / ADKS) from my neighbor who's grandfather was a well known Professor of Classics at Brown University and was the Director of the Athens School for American Studies in Athens, Greece at the Time of it's Discovery. He has written several (40+-) books that are still being used in schools & colleges today, including the definitive version of ALEXANDER THE GREAT . I'm cleaning out my home with antique collectibles & antiquities, and selling everything. So don't pass up this gem, it's Nice & Authentic with an Originally Signed Letter of Provenance.
