This is a gorgeous old bracelet in excellent vintage condition with no damage. It features an etched banded cuff and a large oval center piece filled with a variety of flowers and fruits ..... really gorgeous! The bracelet is adjustable for almost any size wrist. The band measures 1 1/4" wide at the front and 1" wide at the back. The center of the bracelet measures just under 2" wide! Jewelry, especially bracelets were quite large at the beginning of the Victorian era and became much smaller towards the latter end of the era. This is a substantial and fine example of an early vulcanite mourning bracelet, very sentimental and romantic. The cost of antique and vintage jewelry is on the rise and quality pieces are becoming difficult find. This bracelet is one of those pieces that will only go up in value, thus making it ideal as an investment piece or as part of your wardrobe. Be sure to add me to your favorites list !
