Used condition ANTIQUE VIOLIN CARL BECKER JOSEF GUARNERIUS. These are the names inside each with different dates. I assume this is a old reproduction of these makers. Edges of the violin have wear and small chips that come with lots of normal use. Couple surface cracks on the top that have no give when pressed on or around. One of these cracks looks to have been lightly glued in the past. F holes are nice shape. The back of the violin has some wear and light scratches but still looks nice. Bridge has been replaced. Violin feels solid and the arm and head appear good condition. The violin measures 23 inches long. T are some extra stings, bridges, and rosin in the case. I purchased this at an estate sale and was told it belonged to a gentleman in his late 80's or early 90's and that he had used this when he was in college at Friends University in the 1930's or 40's. The age of the violin is not know but the dates inside are 1746 and 1902. The case does have an old banner flag sticker from Friends University on it. I am not a violin collector and have limited knowledge about them so please feel free to ask any questions I may not have addressed. Because of well used condition and needing some restoration I am selling it "as is" with a low starting price and no reserve. Please bid accordingly knowing that it is old and used. CHECK
