Wonderful addition to your Aunt Jemima Black Americana collection, & Very hard to find... NO RESERVE Vintage Aunt Jemima's Old Time Wood Cook-Stove Kitchen Bank! This charming little bank is made of ceramic with a top that lifts off. It has a coin slot on the side so that ladies could hide away money for groceries. This came out of an estate sale and goes with the Aunt Jemima / Mammy & Chef Salt and Pepper Shakers, of which only Aunt Jemima still survives and I'll throw her in with the bank for FREE! This Wood Cook Stove Bank is 4 1/2 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches wide by 4 inches deep. A beautiful robins egg blue colored glaze with shiny black and gold accents. The gold is not at all worn, the bank looks like it got very little use compared to the shaker. It is in perfect shape with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Only one tiny flea bite in the black glaze on the front corner of the stove top, underneath edge, not at all noticable and hardly worth mentioning. The rest of the lid is flawless, any funny areas in the photo are just reflections or glaze overlap marks onto the white porcelain.
