I always have a lot of good silver listed at low opening bids and low shipping, so please check out my other auctions! This is a very nice lot of two antique or vintage solid sterling silver souvenir spoons from Maryland. I have other nice lots listed now, too. They are both marked "Sterling". Please look at the photos and read the description carefully. Left to right, first photo: 1. Very nice large spoon with an ornate handle front and back. The front has Lord Baltimore, the Post Office and the Washington Monument. The back has an oyster, a turtle and a crab and "Baltimore, Md." This is a beautiful and well-made spoon. It is about 5-1/8" long. It is marked "Sterling" with the hallmark for Fessenden. It is in very good condition, with some light scratching and tiny dings from normal use and polishing. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 2. Very nice small spoon in the aesthetic arts and crafts style, popular around 1900. People wanted items that look handmade and many were. The bowl is hand-engraved with "Baltimore." It has a nice pierced, twist handle. It is about 3-3/4" long. It is in very good condition with a little very light scratching and tiny dings, not much.
