For sale is a U.S. military 'Mae West" life vest. I don't know the military model designation so I am including a picture of the printing on the back side of the vest. The vest is in excellent condition with no wear and nice supple rubber. Both CO2 cartridges are unfired and both of the levers are still safety wired. The straps and all of the hardware are in perfect condition. The vest also has the unopened marker dye pack between the folds with perfect printing. It is printed with'Life Jacket Dye Marker --To Release dye --pull this tab down.' This life jacket has very little staining or fading, and the rubber hoses are located in between the folds of the vest and are limber and not cracked. T are what appear to be a few mouse chew marks on the backside of the vest, on the edge of the "patch" in the center of the body of the vest, they are VERY small and and almost need to be pointed out to be noticed. This vest is nearly flawless other than what the color may have faded with age.The color is even, front to back and matches the straps.
