This is a Bouillon spoon of the Watteau design as captured by by Wm B Durgin. b.1853 d.1905. You are bidding on 1 sterling-Bouillon spoon of the Durgin Watteau Pattern. Born in 1853 in Concord N.H. , Wm B Durgin was an apprentice to Newell Harding and spent his early years on a horse driven wagon, selling his early wares "door to door". Later after 1905 the Pattern was obtained by Gorham and moved to Providence R.I. No silverware was produced in this Pattern after 1905. It is a very old and beautiful pattern. All my wares are in excellent condition. The beautiful art pattern is clear and crisp, possibly modeled after French Artist Jean Watteau who is well known for his rococo style. I have almost 500 EBAY transactions over the last few years that I am proud of. I do not claim to be an EXPERT but I do research my goods well. I will ensure that any transaction is properly executed and any concern is addressed. Payment must be received 7 days after auction closes. The winner will pay any insurance and shipping charges incurred from Tryon N.C. I have many pieces of the Watteau Durgin lineage that will shortly be auctioned . Please check out my other items.
