This old Forest Service sign is made of metal/steel and measures appx. 7" x 10". Reads " Property of The United States, All persons are prohibited, under penalty of the law, from committing any trespass. REWARD, The Department of Agriculture will pay not exceeding $100, and not less than $25 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of....... etc.This is stock that was left in a FS building that was purchased decades ago by an elderly couple. It is not dated. The emblem is the official one dating from 1920 to 1938. Has Pacific Can Co. S.F. Cal. at the bottom. It shows some wear , paint loss, scratches and has some discoloration around the edges. (I didn't try to clean it off) Otherwise, good condition .
