This old general store looks so neat it almost looks like they just opened and are waiting for their first customer. Note the Jello advertisement and display. You can see cigars and tobacco in the glass case. On top of the counter is a Massfield Pepsin Gum dispenser. Note the candlestick phone the store keeper has his hand on. The scale and wrapping paper are on the back counter. It is difficult to see brands but one I can make out is Karo. The location is not identified on the back but it did come with many other Arkansas photos from an estate in Arkansas. Probably close to Cabot. The size of the photo including the outside mounting is approx 8x10. |
