It is marked with the 3 hallmark Cartouche, the rampant Lion, The Anchor and the capital letter "G". Although this Squirrel Nut Scoop isn't as dramatic as Gorham's "Squirrel and Twig" series, it does bear a strong resemblance to the designs that Wendt created using figural finials. This Wonderful Nut, Serving Spoon measures approximately 10" inches long with the Squirrel measuring 1-1/4" inches at the very top, sitting on a six sided podium or pedestal. The Bowl is notched at the top and is beautifully pierced with a Floral design. The Bowl measures approximately 3-1/2" inches long and about 2-1/2" inches wide. Overall this Nut Scoop is in Very Good Original Condition. It has been used and has scratches overall - t appears to be a very light film of something sticky on the inside of the bowl . Please check out our photos for close ups of these areas.
